Computer Support Technician
On-Site and
Remote Support
You will own the call including:
Answering
calls from the customer and quoting established service
offerings and rates and scheduling of service

Providing remote support if customer desires
-
Scheduling of on-site support appointment if
necessary to an on-site technician (through our
on-site partner) or providing on-site support in the
Dallas metro area.

Collecting of credit card information so we may
charge the customer
Answering
follow-up calls from customer about the service which
includes future support calls and commissions.
We will provide:
Software
that allows you to provide remote support to customers
(LogMeIn Rescue)
To be considered, candidates must have the following
experience or credentials:
-
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Focus on providing the best service to our
customers. You will own the customer from first call
through a solution and collecting payment
information. If you don’t like talking to customers,
this is not a job for you!!!

Experience in retail or customer service.

Demonstrated strong technical skills with all
Microsoft Windows OS and application support and
networking.

Must be
well versed in resolving all common computer
problems including viruses, slow performance,
errors, e-mail client set-up, software installation
and configuration, peripheral problems.

Highly
motivated and able to work independently. Take
ownership for problems and follow through to
resolution. Engage one of our on-site technicians to
complete the job if on-site support is required.

Certification including but not limited to: A+, MCP,
CCNA, MCSE, CCNP, Net+.
Candidates must have the following computer equipment or
access:

High
speed Internet access

Dedicated Windows based computer with XP Pro or
Vista
-
Quiet,
private workspace
-
Mobile
phone (IP phone can be provided for a high volume
technician)
